A documentary series from Transnistria — the unrecognised breakaway state between Moldova and Ukraine. These images focus on a community living in makeshift stilt houses on the banks of the Dniester river, where corrugated metal walls are painted with cartoon animals and daily life continues in a place the world has largely forgotten.
